Web Link: | East Side Jazz I work with each client to ensure the booking gets just the right sound as well as the right music. Mostly a jazz repertoire – lots of standards as well as originals – but a good sprinkling of pop, rock, blues, Latin and other genres as well. We can provide great live music for wedding receptions, corporate functions and private events. The quartet has played at the Ottawa Jazz Festival for several years. My most recent project with my small group is ‘Celebrating the Music of Gerry Mulligan’. This project involves a 7-piece group with piano, bass and drums along with baritone sax, tenor sax, trumpet and trombone. We play a full concert of music written by Gerry Mulligan and perform the music in various instrumentations including the pianoless quartet that Mulligan made famous in the 1950’s. A superb concert experience. |
